Texas Investigates Toxic ‘Forever Chemicals’ in Lululemon Leggings
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently launched an investigation into Lululemon over the potential presence of toxic “forever chemicals” (PFAS) in its popular activewear, such as leggings, tops, and performance gear.
The probe, announced in mid-April 2026, examines whether the brand’s wellness- and sustainability-focused marketing misleads health-conscious consumers. It also reviews the company’s Restricted Substances List, testing protocols, supply chain practices, and possible deceptive trade practices. No lawsuit has been filed yet—this is an investigative stage involving a Civil Investigative Demand for documents.
